Installing front LSD on Quadra-drive?
I know its pretty much transfer case murder to put a locker in the front axle of these transfer cases for a DD, but what about an LSD like track-lok or vari-lok? Since this xfer case isnt supposed to engage the front axle until slippage occurs(if I understand correctly) and the LSD only acts when traction is lost, shouldn't some form of LSD in the front be OK?

Mistake I made. I have the Quadra Trac II Tcase. To my knowledge WJs 99+ with *Quadra-drive* came with varilock front and rear. But all I can figure out is that they both use the NP249 Tcase(viscous coupling) Soooooo....any ideas?

According to the Jeep Website the Quadra-Trac II and Quadra-Drive options use the same Transfer case, but the Quadra-Drive has a Varilok LSD differentials in the front and rear, while the Quadra-Trac option has open differentials. Based on this I would assume a Varilok or similar LSD would work in the front or rear.
