Is it possible to convert my 4x2 to a 4x4?. I would never have bought had I known it was 4x2, but now I stuck with it I want to convert it to 4x4.

Can anyone help?

 

im guessing you are in europe. there are a lot of electronics and stuff that will have to be changed over and imo it would not be worth it because of needing to find everything needed and you would probably have to get a shop to do it. hope that helps.

 

I'm in Florida. I had been looking for a diesel GC for last two years. Apparently they are quite rare in the Statess. When one showed up I jumped on it, only to discover it was 2wd instead of 4wd! Stupid me, even though the seller thought it was 4WD.. Anyway I love it. Excellent power and steering is great even at 120 mph. I would gladly trade it for a 4wd. Not sure if the steering on 4wd would be as nice. Electronic stability control on the 2wd is great, but can't slog through mud

 

find a cheap xj to go flog in the mud. you would probably be money ahead IMO

 

this, have it as a beater. lift it a bit , trim, big tires, and your ready to go!
