i gotta grand cherokee question
i have a 2000 XJ so i dont no to much on how the front suspension is set up on the grands. on the 1994 to 1999 grand cherokees did they have a solid axle or did they have independent front suspension? or could you order one from the factory with an option?

I'm not positive, but i'm pretty sure that all Grand Cherokees up until the WK (2005 +) had solid axle. Indepent front suspension was never an option.

Engine: 4.7L V8
'93-'98 ZJ Grands, and '99-'04 WJ Grands all had solid front axles whether they were 2WD or 4WD. Starting with the '05 WK Grands they went to independent front suspension on both 2WD & 4WD.
