I found the fuse block under the hood, on my '95. Is there another one some where that I can't find? I am trying to figure out why the instrument panel lights are not working. Thanks. BTW I've only owned the Jeep for 3 days, and there was no owners manual. I have ordered a Haynes manual but until it gets here, I need to keep trying to fix the small things that I find as I go.

Im not positive about a pre 97 body style but in mine there is a fuse box in the passenger side floor board.. its right in front of the door..

 

oops thought you were talking about a Cherokee not a Grand.. my bad

they are also talking of a 2nd one thats behind a plastic cover on passenger side when door is open

Pass side of the dash, open the door and you will see the fuse door on the dash. Have you tried and adjust the dimmer for the panel lights? Does it have a new stereo installed? Do you have tail lights? If your dash lights do not work because of a blown fuse, you won't have any tail and marker lights too.
