how much rear lift without tac bar?

Default how much rear lift without tac bar?

hey guys, just curious on all of your opinions on how much lift you can put on the rear of a zj without putting a trac bar bracket on it.

I think any thing over 3" would recomend a track bar. Some will say they have 6" of lift and still use the stock track bar without the drop bracket, but I won't ride with them.

I'm at ~4" total lift and the rear axle is still centered. Although I will be getting an adjustable rear tb.

yep i would say 4". dont use that drop bracket.

How about the front? I'm doing 3" this weekend, I see people drill a new hole in stock mount but is it necessary for 3"?

I needed one. Axle was 2" more to one side than the other, also, my stock one was in need of replacing. Personally I would go adjustable. Therefore if you ever decide to go bigger your set with that tb. Mine is good for 3-8" of lift.

How did u figure the correct length? Do u unhook tb then lift ur jeep and adjust the length till the holes line up again?

x2 do it right theres a reason brackets and adjustable bars are made
