Default How do I run or where do I run these wires ?

Getting ready to install my new roof basket that has 4 AUX lights mounted on it and I was curious how the experts are getting the wires into the vehicle.

Besides the obvious, drilling a hole in the roof I'm hopeful there are some pretty clever ideas out there that you all are willing to share with a noobie

Thanks for your help in advance !!

You could run it down the door frame and into the cab through the firewall..through the roof then seal it.. tons of options.

running it down the door opening works best, you can ( depending on how big of wires ) tuck them under the weather striping or if you really wanted to run them inside by puting a small slice in it then silicone it afterwards then run wires through were the electrical for the doors goes through

Thanks for the tips, I think getting the wires to the inside of the engine compartment and then through the FW might be a bit difficult though.

If I understand correctly..

Anyone have any pictures they can share, I relate to those VERY good.

I ran the wires along the roof rack rails and in through the back tailgate where theres the gap for opening. already a spot there for high mount brake light. then through the cabin through fire wall. a lot of wires but wires are pretty well hidden and works well. gave it a clean professional look in my opinion. if youre interested in this ill try to take some pictures tomorrow

I've seen guys run the wires thru one of the bolt holes for the factory rack, under the headliner, down the A pillar, and thru the firewall
