Default Hi, I have a question.

I have just bought a 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4. I was wondering if anyone has had and trouble with the rear windshild wiper, or anything else for that matter. please let me know. Thanks,
Hot mama.

I don't have a Grand Cherokee like you, but on the XJs the terminals to the relay in the tailgate tend to get corroded. Then the rear wiper doesn't work. You will have to pull the back panel off to get to it and clean the terminals.

Mine works like this:

1. Window gets dirty.

2. I say, "Wipe off the back window, dang it!"

3. One of my kids jumps out and wipes off the window.

perfect!

Where can I get some kids? I think my rear wiper is starting to die.

We turned it on for a few min. then we were turning it off and it did not go all the way down like it should have so we tried to turn it on again and it would not come on.

The wiring might need some attention. Here is a diagram of the wiring for the wiper motor from a 1994 JGC. Should be similar to your GC. Good luck.
