Default Help please

hi i have a 96 GC w/ 4.0 auto

about two months ago my GC took a dump on me...
i was driving down highway and idler pulley flew off, busted a hose so coolant everywhere, well today i finally replaced hose belt and pulley and everything was perfect it started right up like nothing ever happened

then i decided to take a test drive just to check it out... well as soon as i put it in drive the idle got real rough but when i would push the gas it ran normal... i stopped at a stop sign and my jeep stalled.... any ideas what may be the issues? i dont know what all info is needed but if u need more info to help me please ask

You're lucky it didnt punch a hole in your radiator. I would look at the Idle Air Control valve first. Try cleaning it with throttle body cleaner first then try it again.

Try this

Good Luck

Check for moisture (coolant) under the distributor cap.
