Help immediately with question!
I've been working on removing my girlfriend's radiator, and in the process scraped her AC condenser, so now a constant hissing noise & air is coming out of where I dented the AC condenser.
I don't have the $100 to buy an AC condenser right now, so is there anyway to temporary "patch" this air from the condenser?
Help needed ASAP.
Cheers again for the help!

The AC pressures can be upwards of 70PSI. There probably isn't much you can do for a permanent fix. You could try to get the system evacuated and using something like JB weld patch it then charge it and cross your fingers.

Go to the junkyard and replace it!!!!! You could patch it then pay to have it filled and waste the same amount of money as it would cost just to replace it. Next time be a bit more careful, carelessness cost too much money.

It would be best to just get a new condenser... I did the same thing on an XJ, and tried using JB Weld to patch it, but it didn't work at all. Try checking the local CL in your area, sometimes people list cheap, working condensers there.
Best of luck!

Up to 300 psi is in the condensor, duct tape aint gonna fix that. Your girl friend will never trust you again to work on her Jeep.

There is a product called red angel that is an a/c stop leak. I know what everyone says about stop leak stuff but i have used this stuff three time and all three are still working. One was fixed 3yrs ago. you have to put it in when you are charging the ac so a shop will have to do it.
