Help/advice for a new Jeep owner please
Hi guys moved this head to hopefully shed some light on my problem, thabks
Found out today its not after a long journey at all but after a m-way run where im obviously doing more than 60mph it happens.
Checked all the usual lubricants and oils other than the actual Dif oils.
Its like a slight vibration/knocking from the rear but and will continue to do this when im stopping and pulling away (no handbrake) until ive covered a mile or so then its fine again..
It's obviously heat and speed causing this so i dont know if there is a clue in there somewhere?
Again thanks for the help..Noobie to the Jeep scene im afraid

Noises are really tough to figure out. From your description it sounds like it might be your exhaust pipes? Crawl under there when it's cool, grab the tailpipe and give it a good shake. If you can move it much or make it bang into something, that could be one possibility. Follow the exhaust up towards the front too. Maybe a broken mount.
If that's not it maybe check for out of balance tires. I wouldn't think they'd 'knock', but they could cause vibration. Just guessin' here. Keep us posted
