Help 95 engine won't fire up
95 grand cherokee had a bad engine(bought it at an auction) purchased a used 6 cyl from a wrecking yard. We installed everything as normal except a small plug on the top part of the rear block, looks like a flywheel sensor. where does this connection go to. and what does it do? Also does the computer need to be re flashed to accomidate the new long block. What other procedures do I need to check after the engine swap? Thanks

Yes Same replacement straight 6 went back in. It came from a running jeep. Any idea of the function of the wire harness that exits the rear top part of the block? is there a light or optics that read the flywheel, is this easily damaged when installed?

sensor lead from middle of the block at the rear, easily seen as the tranny bolts into place there is a wire bundle with a 6' pig tail and dedicated plug exiting from the back of the block>>>
