Question Heater Control Panel Fault.

Hi am new to this forum. Have just got my first Grand Cheroke 4.0l year 2000.It is the newer shape(sorry dont know model code). This seems a great car and can see why there are so many of them in use. Please can anyone help with my heater problem my car has auto dual zone temp controls which is great on drivers side but only blows cold on passenger side infact it dosnt blow or do anything on passenger side unless i use manual fan which then blows cold air only although i can switch to floor demist or vents no prob.Have done a self diagnostic test which gives a fault code of 54 which i think indicates temp sensor fault .Please can anyone confirm this or otherwise as a new module is quite expensive and dont want to get one if not at fault. Many thanks Iain.

Never heard of that before. Post your results if you try it. Good luck.
