Bought my wife a 1999 grand limited and the heated seats dont work?? The light for the seats on the console work, but the seats dont heat up?? Is there a fuse or something that goes to the elements in the seats?? thanx in advance.eric

Since the switch lights up I doubt it the fuse, but think it's the element in the seat. There's a recall on those, and we had our '04 repaired for free at the dealer. Read this, scroll down for the seat recall: http://www.wjjeeps.com/recall.htm#1999

 

Does that include the 1999 grand limited?? I was looking but didnt see the the 1999 limited in the recall?? I hope that it is.. I would hate to have to replace the elements.

 

'99 isn't listed there, but I think they're all covered as a safety issue, but I may be wrong. You can contact the dealer to make sure.
