Hello all Im new and my drivers seat and heated mirror dont work. 97 grand cherokee limited. The passenger side works fine. I was reading about the wires in the seat being broken and before I tear into it I wanted to make sure that I need to. Will the heated seat and heated mirror not work if the wire is broken or am I looking at a different problem? I would think the seat would stop working but not the mirror as well but maybe im wrong. Thank

The heated mirrors are on the same fuse & relay as the rear window defrost. That is fuse #10 in the fuse box behind the right side kick panel. It is a 10 amp red fuse. It is also controlled by a 40 amp orange fuse in the Power Distribution Center under the hood. The heated mirrors and rear defrost are the only things on those fuses.
The heated seats are controlled by circuit breaker "J" which is the top one of a row of three vertically mounted small breakers in the center of the fuse box behind the right side kick panel. This breaker also controls the power seats, so if those work it isn't the breaker but could be either the switch on the dash, a bad connection at the seat, or a bad heating element.
And Welcome to CF.
