Has anyone done an H4 conversion on a ZJ? I have a 98 Grand Cherokee Limited 5.2 and my headlights are horrible. I like the rampage H4 housings as well as long walks along the beach.

www.rockauto.com will have replacement housings for about 50 bucks. I replaced the housings on my ZJ and it made the lights tons better.

Ive got the E-code glass lenses and they take H4 bulbs. They are a more costly but the light focus/pattern is awesome. If you can get away from the 9004 bulb you will be better off. There are a lot of cheap options out there so if I was you I would try to find someone using the ones you are interested in for real feedback, it would suck to waste money on crap housings.

My biggest concern about the factory lenses was they scattered light everwhere, didnt seem to focus much of the light where it needed to go. My factory lenses were not real cloudy or yellow and they were still terrible even on high beams. The factory bulbs (9004) are one of the worst bulb designs too. A minimal upgrade would be converting to 9007's

I really havent made my mind up so I guess Im asking for suggestions/reviews of what people may or may not have been happy with. I originally was leaning towards the spec-d or spyder all in ones because I liked that all the lights were replaced. However I think Im going to pick up some new glass housings just not sure which ones. If anyone has pictures theyd like to post or link me to with their headlights that would be much appreciated.

once again I shouldve been a little more clear when i said new glass housings i meant doing a conversion to h4 glass housings.
