Default Head Question

I am sure this has been covered at some point or another but i cannot seem to find it, My gf just picked up an 01 GC and i know thye had head issues at least on the xj's in 2000 and 2001 my question is whether it was on the GC's as well and how i go about finding if hers has the bad heads on it. It only has 65K miles on it and carfax shows regular maintenance every 3K at dealer but truck runs how should i put this... a little less than smooth at idle but not rough not sure if that is normal with the GC. Any help would be appreciated...... Thanks

Same engine as the XJ, but I wouldn't worry about it until there is a problem. Just keep from over heating it and you should be fine.

with cherokee's over the years i learned if its not broken then wait till you know it is before you fix it... because one job turns into another and another! keep regular maintenance on her and if u come across a problem fix it....

I agree with SINCITY192, but if you're curious about any possible problems that may arise, just google 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee recalls and see what comes up.
