Greetings from a newbie...
Want to say hello to everyone here, I've been lurking around the forum for past couple of weeks and finally became a member. Also I have a AX15 trans question.
My sister-n-law gave me her 94 GCL 4.0 w/127k miles. The trans went out on it and she asked if I was interested in keeping it to do whatever that it was mine, so I took it, can't pass up a freebie. Anyway, since the trans is bad, I've been reading about the AX15 swaps including the write-up on this forum and I want to tackle this one. My main question is, is there any preference between the internal slave vs external and also does it matter what year? I'm in no rush to do this swap, so I have plenty of time to gather all necessary parts. Were it not for the snow I would be in the JY's right now scrounging for parts. Thanks in advance.
