Hey guys
Im having a technical problem With my jeep, have taken it for service but for some reason they cannot find out What wrong With it. It is a grand cherokee from 2001, i bought it about 3 months ago at a dealership in Orlando. The problem starts out usually With The Windows stop working and all The indicators in The dashboard light up and all The intruments go down to 0. For example The oil pressure, fuel gauge and mph go down to 0 Even though The car is working fine while im driving. However, after a couple of days With this problem The battery dies and i have to jump start it. After its been jump started everything works fine and is back to normal as it should be before all The problems start all over again. Have recently gotten a new battery and everything was looking good until The windows stop working, so im guessing it all gonna happen again. Has anybody any idea on whats going on or has experianced something like this?

Check the alternator. If its not working properly it could be draining the battery.

I had the same problem on my zj exact same problem I ended up taking my doors off for fun and when I put them back on problem solved ....... Check your connections in the door plugs and also for broken wires leading from the door to inside the truck hope this helps
