I know this is out of place, so if any moderators wanna move it, that's fine.
So I bought a 1998 grand cherokee last week. Frame is mint, motor runs great. 150k and not a spec of rust or rot anywhere. Noticing some problems.
Tick when I turn (guessing axle)
A knock when I brake hard, or accelerate. Sometimes when I hit potholes.
(Guessing control arm bushings?)
Clunks when I put it in reverse. (Guessing U-Joints?)
Also clunks when I let off the gas sometimes. Mostly at low RPM's.
I'm pretty mechanically inclined, but I guess I just wanted some second opinions. Semi new to jeeps, so any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
