Going to look at an 05 Grand Cherokee...
Here we go again.
Ok, this one is a Laredo, 4.7 v8 and 79k miles. I can get it for $4700.
I know this was the first of a new model year. Read all about them on wkjeeps.com. Also searched online for user feed back and didn't see much that was recent. However some said great, some said awful. So here we are in 2017 so any feedback?
Assuming previous owner did all of the proper maintenance, would you be confident or run far away from the 05 with the 4.7? Thanks!

We had problems with our 2005 WK Laredo 4X4 4.7L at 150k miles, and got rid of it at 211k miles for a 2014 WK2 Limited 4X4 3.6L with 55k miles.
On the old 2005 WK, we had to replace the front differential, the navigation screen went out and rendered the radio useless except for volume and a few station presets. Sets aren't that comfortable (VERY firm), and the 4.7 isn't the most reliable Jeep engine. The 545RFE 5-speed auto transmission that came with these also had noise that transferred prominently into the cabin via vibrations.
If you are going to look at a WK, I'd go for the 5.7 HEMI, that's just my opinion.
