Gibson... Aluminized or Stainless Steel ???
I'm in the process of ordering a Gibson Performance Exhuast System, the Gibson Web-Site states...
"Aluminized- heavy-duty tubing for extended durability and longer life"
http://www.gibsonperformance.com/vehicle_products.asp

but my installer advised me to go with the Stainless Steel.
Is there an advantage from one system over the other?

Stainless is more corrosion resistant then aluminized. Also a higher markup for whoever is selling it to you. So it really depends in weather the stainless and extra corrosion resistance is worth it to you for the extra cost involved.
May not be if you're going to go off road alot and just scratch, bash, whack, and squash it anyway. If it's mostly a street vehicle, it may be worth the extra cash...What's the prices of each??
