So I took my zj in for an alignment and found out that my pass side axle tube is bent. Wen I bought my iron rock long arm lift I bought it with the xj arms so I could swap to a HI pinion 30. I didn't originally plan to get carried away with this rig. Well after wheeling it some that's not gonna work. I just bought a set of Danna 44s front and rear to swap into it. But that not gonna happen till this winter. I had already picked up a xj axle to make the swap, so I have it laying on the side of the house. So on to my question. I currently have the stock low pinion Dana 30 under my jeep with a bent axle tube. I have a good hi pinion 30 at the house. But they are not the same gears. will the gears from the low pinion 30 work in the hi pinion thirty as a temp fix to by me some more time until I can make my axle swap happen? Any info would be appreciated.

Nope. Gears are cut differently. You can run the axle and just pull the driveshaft so you can't use 4wd.

High pinion uses reverse cut gear teeth. Will not accept the standard rotation gears that come in the low pinion.
