gas needle? please help
My tank used to go past full when i filled up all the way. i got stuck in a ditch a month ago and ran out of gas trying to get out. i got gas but nozzle on plastic tank didnt fit so i used a screwdriver to pry open flap to poor gas in. the screwdriver handle broke and got stuck in the flap door. i got it out with needle nose plyers but ever since than now when i fill my tank completely full the needle barely reaches full on the gauge???? did i mess somthing up or is it a coinsidence now??? can i fix this??? please help its driving me crazy.

My 95 fuel level is erratic sometimes. What you are experiencing is a coinkadink. Try cleaning the connector to your fuel level sensor. Or do what I do, top it off every 300 miles no matter what the gauge says.

When you hammered it into the ditch, did you dent the bottom of the tank? Unlikely, but could've bent the float arm for the level sender.
