Gas gauge
I just changed a fuel pump on a 97 grand Cherokee and now the gas gauge lays on E, and it has a half tank, has anyone ha this problem before ?

Check the fuel sender unit, check the wires and make sure that there is proper current running through the wires.
Also make sure when installing the fuel pump, the float is in a spot it can move freely.
