fuse box and brake lites
Hey fellas,
1. brake lights don't work with 2 new bulbs installed-1994 Grand Cherokee Laredo
2. location of fuse box is on passenger side of dash but the Haynes manual incorrectly states it should be on driver side between sterring column and parking brake.
I found one popped fuse in the fuse box but no change. BTW the trailer tow wiring doesn't work. Maybe related?
I can't find any other fuses other than the power distribution box in engine compartment.
There should be a tow harness relay according to the Haynes manual but I cannot find iit, and the manual is already wrong on the fuse box location so i'm stumped.
any Ideas?

I had a similar issue with my 93. Turned out it was the brake light switch that caused the fuse to blow. When I replaced it , it cured a whole bunch of stuff. My parts man said he sold alot of them over the years. Hope this helps.

Fuse box
I had same problem on 1986 2 door renix.Fuse box dead and insane electrics.I got dead diesel jeep fuse box, same year from Deadjeep and took two days cutting wire for wire and soldering/heat shrinking. It all works now.
I have since found out Painless Wiring supplies harnesses with what looks like same type of box.Early Chevys seem to have same fuse box.AMC used lots of Chevyy parts. it's painful but worth doing. Go fo it.
