Question Fuel pressure problems or cps or what

1999 Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.0 runs but dies whenever it feels like it. The fuel pressure is 60 psi with a new fuel pump, filter and strainer. Is there a fuel pressure regulator somewhere or could there be a restriction or what? This is a friends GC that dies whenever it feels like it. Under load or driving around for 20 minutes more or less runs great then just dies. It also can idle for 10 mins in drive then just die. Restarts again after it sits for a minute or so. No codes show up at any point. Any ideas?
I have a 96 Sport 4.0 High output, that has 40 psi at fuel rail with a new filter and it runs great.

Sounds like a classic cam sensor failure.

Thanks Cam... I replaced the cam sensor first, no change, then went to change the dreaded crank sensor, and after scrapes and bruises getting it out was just as predicted HARD AS H-LL. The location for this was next to impossible to remove & replace without my 4 foot 3/8 drive extension that I use to remove transmissions with a universal and a 11m socket. Probably easier with a shop lift instead of on the driveway. Success for the Jeep engineers, tough on the weekend wrench knuckle busters. Fuel rail pressure still at 60 psi, but my buddies Jeep is going again.
