Fuel indicator

I had a problem with my Grand Cherokee Limited 1998. The fuel indicator sometimes works, but sometimes does not work. How to fix it?

Engine: 4.0 with all of the noise and clatter

Drop the tank and replace the sending unit. Or drop the tank and replaced the whole fuel pump module.
