i have a 98 grand cherokee,the last few months the fuel gauge is fine till half tank then it triggers the fuel light for a few seconds and dings..then its fine for 3-4 mins then the same thing.after driving for 30 mins or so(or until its off half tank) it stops and all is well...thinking sending unit?

 

yeah i think the sending unit going bad or has bad connection??? pull it out and see, worst case scenario drop another fuel punp module in and go

 

thats what im thinkin ill do,funny that it only does it at half tank though..it doesnt look like its too bad to do either.need to do muffler too,so maybe ill make a day of it
