Im currently building a tube bumper for mine. Had an XJ but the WJ is a completely different monster. Tie ins are going to be difficult, Im looking at how to utlize to bolt locations from factory tow hooks and sway bar to body mounts. Will be made from 1/4 outside and 3/16 to "sandwich" uni body in this local. Mucho trimming needed also, been at it a couple days.
The first pic shows how much is there. This is drivers side and the washer bottle is located here. I picked up a ZJ bottle and relocated it under hood.
The second pic is pass side after cutting away. This side had the horns, which will also be relocated under hood.
I trimmed my fenders to achieve the room needed for travel. Be sure he understands in order to achieve the look of the bumper you posted cutting is necessary.
Should have some pics of the mounting plates by the end of the month. Sorry so slow but this project is also R&D for the shop. Trying to create something to produce for the WJ customers out there:thumbup:

That is really diffrent... I dont thonk ill be able to do it then. I was going to put the tubparts all togeter then build mounts when he brings it by for a day... The xj and yj are so simple.

May end up being a one off job. Mainly cause it has alot of angles and curves to it. We've had alot of requests for WJ bumpers ,but never one to build off of. Another reason I picked this up.
