foamy motor oil???
can anyone tell me what this means and what to do. i'm thinking cracked manifold and antifreeze is getting in and messing with the viscosity of the oil.

Is it foamy like bubbles or like chocolate milk looking stuff? If a headgasket was blown I think you would not only have coolant in the oil, but oil in the coolant. Oil pressure is always there when the engine is running, so it should push oil into the cooling system when running. Cooling system would only have pressure when warm and it should be a lower pressure than oil pressure, but it will push coolant into the oil when the engine is not running.

You should never have oil in your cooling system nor antifreeze in your oil. They are totally separate. Believe me if he has antifreeze in his oil, or oil in his antifreeze, it's a problem. That's not normal. Now on the positive side, he could have a bad radiator and tranny fluid could be in the radiator.
