First post!!! And a question
Whats up everyone! I just bought a 1998 jeep grand cherokee limited 4.0. I love it!!! Please try not to flame me for not searching hard enough on this one. I really like the sound of the magnaflow exhaust, but maganflow only makes their catback for the V8. I was listening to sound clips on youtube for the 4.0, but I was not sure if they had the catback or just the muffler. Does anyone know if the magnaflow catback for the v8 will fit the 4.0? Is anyone with a 4.0 running the catback?

I would look at the size of your stock exhaust pipe and start looking around for something in that diameter.

Iirc stock exhaust tube is 2.25 until the cat then it get a lil bigger. A v8 system is prolly gonna be 2.5 to 2.75. I don't think it would hurt anything you would get more flow and a deeper tone. But do a lil research and see what you come up with then go from there
