Im thinking about buying a 2.5 inch spring lift from Fat Bob 's garage. Has anyone bought this lift and how do you like it? Also what size tire doyou have on the say it will fit a 265-70-17 I would like to run this size only 16. Its my daily driver my 96 Grand is my mudder.

 

I bought a 2 inch lift from Fat Bobs. Springs and Shocks. I just also picked up some Rubi take offs and they have 255/70/17's. From everything I've read they'll fit fine.

I do like having the extra 2 inches but it makes my Jeep ride like a Jeep. Which I like. I don't really plan on going off road all that much. We here in N.E. Ohio get a buttload of snow and the increase in height for snow will help.

 

Thanks I went ahead and ordered the lift. I got my wheels today pro comp7069s. ill get tire after the lift is installed and look around to see what fits.

 

Remember your bolt pattern is 5 by 5.

 

Ya I just doublechecked they sent me the right ones. If not they will fit one of the other jeeps we have. 2 2002 grands a 1996 and 1994 grand and a 91 Comanche. Wife calls it the Jeep used car lot!

 

Used car lot is putting it lightly.

I wish Jeep would bring back the Comanche. I love those old trucks. So very, very cool.

 

we are currently rebuilding/restoring the Comanche(it was pretty straight with very little rust). Ive already sold a 96 Grand a 2001 Wrangler and a 1994 Cherokee. Yes my neighbors love me too!!!
