fan and relay

i have a problem. My jeep over heated because my fans didnt turn on so i replaced the relay it worked for five days then it started to overheat again because the fans arent turning on wat could the problem be

try putting 12 volts directly to the fan and see if it turns on, if it does not then it is a bad fan.

maybe the fan is drawing too much amperage for the relay to handle? Might be why the relay failed again? Might need to replace both......

i tried to recieve power from the fan wires and there is no current there... so im assuming there is a shortage somewhere...is there a common place for these shortages...and do u kno if it will get expensive!!!
