ok! i have a 1997 grand cherokee 5.2 litr limited. all wheel drive all the time on 31 inch tires 3.73 gearing.....
my engine is over heating when i drive...not red line but a couple notches away....
also! i want a new muffler / glasspack?
i want one that is deep sounding but loud..not to the point i get pulled over tho...
help a brother out

Check cooling fan op, at those temps you should really hear the fan moving some air at engine speeds above idle. Flush the cooling system too would help. Try those first. If the cooling fan doesnt seem to be working, replace the fan clutch.

Muffler for deep sound and loud, try the flowmaster 40 series, or super 44. Both have a good deep sound. Neither are very loud if you have a tail pipe and both provide a good deep sound. I have a 4.0 with a 40 series and a turn down and it is not very loud at all inside and not too loud outside

I just replaced the fan clutch on my rig and the temp has not gone over 210.
