Default Engine Temp question

I'm wondering what the normal operating temp should be on a 5.9 ZJ? I know my XJ runs a little over 200 and the ZJ has 210 marked on the gauge... what temp rating should the t-stat be?

Thanks in advance!

I'm running a 180* t-stat in my 5.2. So my normal temps are around 190-200* during the summer and cooler in the winter due to the arctic temps.

The stock t-stat is a 195* and it is very common to see a constant 200-210*.

Thanks for the reply, I am driving my buddy's ZJ and I noticed that it never gets hotter than 180* (and it's about 19* outside right now) and he's got a 180* t-stat in it. I'm thinking he needs to put in a higher temp t-stat beacuse his gas mileage really sucks.
