I have a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo with a good engine in it and low miles, but the transmission is out and it needs some electrical work. I found a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee (not sure if it's Laredo). It's in good condition but all it needs is a engine. I want to put the 96 Laredo engine in it... Will it work??? I have found several similar posts on the internet but everyone seems like they're not sure. Some say it would work and others say that it would take a lot of modifications. It's a 4.0L engine
