Seems it has been a long while since I were here last. Here is what my 98 ZJ is doing at the current time.

While running the engine will just die out, if at idle, or run rough if in the 1500-3000 rpm range. It will only run rough for a few seconds then run fine if I am driving down the road. If I come to a stop sign, or light, and it dies, it sometimes takes quite a few tries for it to start up again.

When it does not want to start back immediately, I notice that I can smell gas so I am pretty sure it is not a fuel issue.

Which leads me to think it is some sort of spark problem, and since it is an intermittent issue, I am thinking it is a sensor of some sort.

I have searched on here to see what I can find, but there isn't an easily found thread that has the same issue I figured I would ask here.

One last thing, this only happens within the first five to ten minutes of running, and only if the ZJ is cold. If it is already warmed up it runs great.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
