Specs: 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee V8

Here are the rrsults after 1st emissions try:

Hydrocarbons (HC) in PPM:
Carbon monoxide (CO) in %:

1st idle reading:
(HC): 268
(CO): 3.44

Pre Condition reading:
(HC): 308
(CO): 7.44

Pre Condition standard:
(HC): 100
(CO): 0.50

Final reading:
(HC): 243
(CO): 2.66

Idle standard:
(HC): 220
(CO): 1.20


This is a friends vehicle i do not have any info on previous maintenance or upkeep. My plan is to start with a good seafoam treatment and new spark plugs. If anyone has any other info or knows more about what each one of these numbers mean please respond here.

what about the numbers needed to pass? It should have that info on a test printout
