driving with bad transfer case without front driveshaft
I have a 2000 jeep grand Cherokee with awd and 4.7l. The transfer case is bad. I took out the front driveshaft and driving it with 2wd. It has 175000 miles on it but runs good and I am taking it to Florida and leaving it for me to drive when I go visit family. I don't need awd in Florida and it is too expensive to fix. Is it safe to drive indefinitely ? I plan on driving it from Virginia to Florida next weekend
