driver side running light malfunction

Default driver side running light malfunction

2010 grand cherokee driver side running lights dont work both front and back but the brake and turning signals work. checked bulbs, fuses and relays also used a volt meter and im getting 12v from everything except running light hole which reads 3.5 v

You probably know what you're doing but I need to ask anyway.

Are you sure you checked all associated fuses? Fuses are located in more than one panel/box. If uncertain then you should take a few minutes more to review the owner's manual (or RTFM as I like to say).

Are there any after-market accessories added to your Jeep that need a power supply? For example, it is common to tap driver-side running lights for power to things like a lighted visor. I also have seen them tapped for power to aftermarket alarms. These things can "pull-down" power from the tapped circuit, especially if defective or not set-up properly.
