Default Downstream 02 sensors, wiring connectors?

Does it matter which connector on the downstream 02 sensors is connected to which sensor? Rebuilt motor now getting P0161 code. Could I have reversed the plugs, would that make any difference?

FAr as I know, the downstream O2 only job is to report on the efficiency of the cat converter. If I am right then the only consequence of reversing the plugs on them, if that is even possible as they may be keyed, is that it will report on bank 1 when it means bank 2, etc.
