Default Door switches

Hey guys, Total newbi here.. I just got a 97 jeep cherokee yesterday.
Anyways I got the car and I have a few questions I am confused about..
1st yesterday when I got the car the electronics all worked fine.. but today I went out to the car and tried to use the unlock botton on the driver side to let my wife in and it didn't do anything.. I had to reach over and do it buy hand.. It didn't click or make any noise at all.. then I tried to roll down my window and it wouldn't work.. so I had my wife try her side and she can lock all the doors and roll down her window. When she locked the doors in the car all of them locked but the driver lock. is it just not getting power anymore?

second. It has a big tranny leak.. I left it overnight and it probably lost about a quart of trany fluid.. Is it most likely a seal? or am I in trouble?

Any help would be great!

Thanks

Jason

A few more things I noticed.
in my drivers side door the light doesn't work when the door opens anymore.
The speaker in the door does work

I pulled the door panel off and unpluged the main harness into the switch and it is getting power and the ground on the plug works..

Its just so random.. can it be something other then the switch still?

I have the same problem. My passenger side door works but nothing else does. I have traced all the wires and I don't know what else to do. Have you found a solution?

About the doors - I would check the ground. The transmition leak - you my have bad gasket or loose bolts on oil pan. You could have leak in other places while driving. Check the cooler lines, safety switch, rear transmition seal.
It my be easy to fix or you my have to remove transmition or transfer case.
