Does it matter which headlight switch?
The headlight switch is dying on my 97 Grand, Laredo. The part new is $100+, but all the used ones (there are a dozen or so on eBay) don't match mine -- I have the far-left "auto" setting on the dial, and not the fog light button on the right. Every used one I can find has the fog button and/or is missing the auto setting.
Can I just install the wrong one -- one that has the auto setting, but also the fog switch, which I'll just ignore? Or am I making a problem for myself? Will the connectors match up?
