Disconnecting ac hose
I am trying to replace the heater core in my 97 Grand Cherokee and I can not get the one ac hose off in order to remove the black box from the cab. I have the metal "quick disconnect" tool but it is not working. I have tried all of the homemade disconnect short cuts and watched all of the videos on youtube but nothing is working! I need suggestions!

The difficulty shows that the correct procedure is being followed.
Ensure that the system has been properly evacuated prior to disconnecting the fittings.
Push the correct size tool into the spring coupling. Push and rotate the coupling instead of pulling. Push the tool into the coupling some more. Push and rotate some more.
Once the tool is fully inserted, then pull the parts apart.
