Dash removal - WJ 03
I'm in the process of removing my dash to replace my blend door/ recirc door.
I've done ok today but I'm stuck on 2 of the different steps.
I'm following the wjjeeps write up on the issue.
Step 29)
29. Remove the nut that secures the instrument panel steering column support bracket to the stud on the driver side cowl plenum panel (Fig. 31 or 31B).
This is a 13mm head bolt and I can't tell from the pictures where it actually is at. Can someone give me a better explanation on where this nut is located? IE is it just up and left of where the steering wheel comes into the cab? Just need an orientation from either the pedals/steering column/fuse box.
Other question - Is there a tool to remove the wiring harness connectors? Removing some of these has been the hardest part so far. And there are two on the passenger side that connect to the HVAC housing and I'm having trouble getting the one with two wires in it out. I don't feel a lever to press down on to get it to pop off either. Any input on this one?? It is step 37.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for your time.

I've got this figured out and the dash is now out.
I just cut the wires on the one connector and now that the dash is out and I can see it i'll be able to get it out and then solder it back together.
The other nut (I believe - still not sure if it was the right one) was located up underneath the dash. Basically if you rest your head on the brake pedal and look straight up and a little to the right there is a nut there to remove.
