That 94 GC w/ AWD is not shifting again.
Both motor mounts are broken, and I didn't feel like bolting the new ones in today. I drove it to the store and it shifted fine on the way there.
On the way home, 2nd gear all the way.
Now I assume that the changing geometry of the engine with the mounts worn out will affect this... but I wasn't able to "wiggle" the shift lever to have any effect on the shifting. Like you can do "normally' in these situations.
As silly as it sounds, it doesn't act like it is "supposed to" with this. :/ I think that there is something stuck or worn in the tranny.
I am going to change the mounts in the next couple days, as well as a fluid /filter change on the gearbox. Hopefully this fixes all of it, but I doubt it.
where should I cast my gaze while I have the pan off?
