I have a 98 zj grand cherokee i6 4.0l with awd. The drive shaft coming from the front axle has a cv style and on the transfer case has a universal joint. I want to replace this portion of the drive shaft and install one with universal on both ends. My question is...can this be accomplished and what would be the cost? Where do I get the shaft from?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Get the u-joint shaft that has a sliding greasable yoke in the middle of the shaft from a ZJ as some came equipped that way. You need the front yoke that attaches to the differential on the axle (switch with yours) as well as the shaft.
