The wife just called from town and said that the cruise control stopped working. Apparently, she was on the interstate, turned it on and .... nothing. The little indicator light doesn't even light up. No engine light on. Any ideas where to start. Thanks in advance.

Check the fuse first of all. The light not working indicates an electrical issue.Originally Posted by Bruce in Montana

Check the light itself and see if it's working..

To test all instrument lights out push and hold the odometer toggle/reset button and turn the key to on, but not start. You'll see the needles sweep and calibrate and the odometer test all digits with all idiot lights testing.
A bad brake light switch could also cause this problem. To test all instrument lights out push and hold the odometer toggle/reset button and turn the key to on, but not start. You'll see the needles sweep and calibrate and the odometer test all digits with all idiot lights testing.
