I was in the mountains and tranny overheated and at the same time all my gauges and power windows, and alarm quit working and would come on and off luckily was able to drive home but after sitting now when I try to start the engine it cranks over and runs for 3 sec or so then will just die any clue what it could be?

 

First thing to check would be all the connections to and from the battery terminals, make sure they are clean and tight. If those wires check out to be good then take your battery to a shop and see if its still good. But if the power isn't cutting out anymore and it just wont start could be multiple things

 

my grand did about the same thing <computer> try disconecting battery for few minutes than reconect ...mine would run for another mounth and do it again...finally shelled out and bought one
