Coolant Issue on a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0
Hi, I own a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.0 with 171,661 miles on it. The temperature stays at 210 even in the most extreme conditions ( I believe that's a normal temp for a Jeep) The oil pressure is 40 at start up and fluctuates between 40 to 60 on the freeway which is normal (I have a K&N oil filter on). Ok so at least once a week I'm getting a low coolent chime and have to top off the coolant resivor/put coolant in it. I don't have any external leaks, smoke coming out of the tailpipe or overheating problems. So why is it needing coolant constantly? I hope the info I provided is enough to get a diagnosis, I'd appreciate any help I can get.
